DON’T JUST DREAM IT, DARE IT [1]

One of the easiest things to do in life is to dream.

Anyone can dream at any time and any place.

Dreaming has never been a problem, but daring is.

Dreaming of being a medical doctor, lawyer, engineer, entrepreneur, or investor is easy. Daring to become any of these is the problem.

I have met countless mentees who had dreams of becoming international speakers of note, super successful entrepreneurs or even world-class investors. But while checking through their approach to elements that can enhance the reality of their dreams, I discovered they were not going to achieve those dreams because they were far from taking the necessary and daring steps to do so.

You can’t just dream and stay in the realms of dreams. You must wake up from that dream and dare to do something about it.

Real dreamers don’t just dream, they dare. It is common knowledge that talk is cheap, but actions aren’t.

You can’t just dream and stay in the realms of dreams. You must wake up from that dream and dare to do something about it.

HOW TO CROSS FROM DREAMING TO DARING

1. UNDERSTAND THAT LIFE ONLY STARTS FROM DREAMING IT DOES NOT END THERE.

The earlier you realize that life only begins with dreams and do not end there, the better for you. Life is too profound for it to just end with dreams. It is measured in the number of daring steps you take and not in the volume of dreams you had.

No matter how grand your dreams are, they need to be fulfilled, if you want to achieve monumental success in your life’s pursuits.

So folks, wake up and smell the coffee.

Wake up and start living.

2. UNDERSTAND THAT THOSE WHO DARE HAVE NO FEAR.

You must prevent yourself from being over taken by fears. You can’t entertain fears if your goal is to dare your dreams for realization.

Those who dare don’t know fear.

Those who dare can’t feel fear.

Fear is never a part of the syllabus of daring dreamers.

TYPE OF FEARS TO AVOID.

1. Fear of the unknown.

The fear that tells you, “I don’t even know what is out now, so how do I go out there to take steps”?

It makes you fear what you haven’t seen. Do not let non-existent fears hold you down.

2. Fear of people’s opinions.

Someone once said, and I quote, “if you want people to say nothing, do nothing and say nothing” The truth is people will always have opinions their opinions about everything. This is because everyone is entitled to their own opinions.  Never allow people’s opinions to stop you from daring to walk in your dreams.

3. Fear of castigation.

The fear of what people will say or think if you get it wrong in your attempt to take daring steps towards realizing your dreams. The truth is mistakes are permitted in the journey to the realization of dreams. But we must learn constantly from every mistake, and become even better afterwards.

4. Fear of failure.

This simply means being afraid of the outcome of a dream you haven’t dared. You must be decisive when it comes to stepping out of your comfort zone to dare your dreams; because we only become the dreams we dare and realize. You’re the sum-total of those dreams you dare.  Get rid of your fears and walk into the future set in place for you.  TO BE CONTINUED.

See you at the top.
